Research Office HDR Supervisor Workshop Series 3: Preparing candidates for thesis examination Online
The final workshop will look at how the Australian Graduate Research Good Practice Principles inform thesis examination, and we will also discuss the pressures that culminate for candidates during the final phase of candidature. Candidates frequently require additional support as they prepare their thesis for examination and transition beyond candidature. We will explore the role of the supervisor in the examination process, and discuss strategies and resources available to support the preparation of a thesis for examination
This session will be run by Susan Gasson, Senior Lecturer and HDR Advisor Development, Graduate Research School at James Cook University.
