Researchers increasingly need to be aware of directions in open acess and what to consider when assessing funding requirements, publishing options and engagement with government and industry. Additionally, open educational resources are increasingly prevalant in higher education and offer many advantages over other traditionally published resources.

This presentation will cover the following topics

  • Open access funding mandates
  • Notre Dame and open access for engagement
  • Open access and copyright
  • Publishing and using open educational resources for teaching and learning
