This hands-on workshop follows on from last week's Data-what do I need to know? presentation.
You will be introduced to tools and concepts to help you consider how to manage, store, share and publish your research data - a process necessary for a researcher to consider before submitting their Ethics Application.
Ethics Officer, Dr Natalie Giles will co-present and contextualise for those applying for ethics approval.
We will be investigating the kinds of questions researchers should be asking themselves and their team members, and using tools for managing data:
- Data management checklist
- DMPOnline: The UK's Data Curation Center (DCC) tool. We will test the platform to assess its usefulness for your project
- Figshare.com: A free online collaboration, data storage and publishing platform
